Star Sports shows LIVE telecast, when it is not.
by C Kr on Jul 05, 2007 03:23 PM

I saw so many matches had been completed on Wimbledon.org. These were being telecast as 'live' on Star Sports, when they were clearly over.

This is dishonest. Amritraj was pretending it was live.

Yeah,
The sign is good, a straight set victory, and the score aint bad either, 6-3, 6-4. And it is left on em, that how they gonna keep this momentum going, Mr Bhupati i a vintaged one, he do his best, and that is for sure, but the matter of concern is about Ms Mirza, as she developed some problems on her knees( but I think she is a too young bloke to have a knee problem). I seen her playing with Mr Bhupati, way back( I think tht was at Bangalore, not sure though) and I am sure that they can make the best of a pair in the game of Tennis. Adios from ma side, keep on going, all the best and dont be wondered, if the mixed wimbledon trophy land in india this time. Thanks

Many love to see Indian talent on the world stage !
by cajetan coelho on Jul 05, 2007 12:55 PM  | Hide replies

Our tennis players keep trying all the time. With their dedication, commitment and perseverance they are laying the foundations for our other Indian players to come along fearlessly. Great to see our Indian sisters and brothers making their presence felt in every available field.

Sameer Bhagwat may not have repeated his post.

but its the bug in rediff. sometimes bcoz of the slow network, we need to press submit or posting button again and again. it results in multiple posting of same message.

PS: my english is also poor, plz do comment on my english error also :)

My God! What horrible English! That too, repeated again and again! Seems like Rediff message boards are a means of torturing and insulting other readers and their sensibilities!

Its ok Sid, he has posted that message only once but there is one error called 'unexceptional error' if your English is exceptional it will give this error & they will post your message for three/four times.

My very dear Mr.Susheel Bhat Saheb,
Namaskaar/Aaadaabarz Huzure wala:
I just saw 5 mails on this forum and most of them are from, only,Mr.Sameer Bhagwat,Amrit Patil and (some one by Sid 05 Jul 2007 11.17 AM),saying more about the english then the tennis.
I was, really, surprised that you great and lovely people say more about english and other objects then the real subject of the game and that too specially about Sania.
Anyway,I agree that some of us have poor english and I am one of them.So pl don't mind my english also.
For your pleasure I write one sample of my friend's english.
Once, some three decades ago,in an All India Inter-Varsity Tennis tournament held at Lucknow in UP,the organiser of the meet called the captain of my team of Aligarh Muslim University,Jamal Akhtar Aziz, but he could not understand the english of the organiser.Who again called very laudly,"Who is the captain of AMU"? My friend Jamal said,"I is the Captain."The organiser was astonished and said,"Are you the captain"?My friend replied;"Yes;I is the Captain".
So that was our sweet english but the message was conveyed.
So,my friends;don't see the language but understand the message only.
Anyway,Sania will play some rounds with Mahesh but will not be able to win the title this time because she is suffering from her knee injury.
So take thier wins or loses,SPORTINGLY.
Bye Bye and take care carefully but beautifully.
Your's Sincerely,
Engineer Ahmad Rais Siddiqi(Alig)
