The fighter

There is no one like Serena Williams. She is the best fighter the world has ever seen. The girl does not give up and that is why she is a true champion.Daniela is such a graceful woman and her concern was clearly evident on her looks when she came over to the other side. She looked a bit hesitant when play resumed. She knows that its a compitition and a good chance to move her injured opponent but her concience was clear.Hats off to Daniela may her tribe increase.

I agree! Serena is really a very strong fighter! She is to tennis what Bill Goldberg is to Wrestling!

I was moved by the professionalism, dedication and persistence of Serena. Can our Men in Blue - Sachin/Ganguly learn from her?

Cinematic

Last night Wimbledon has witnessed the most cinematic scenes on court.

But I think Hantuchova hesisated a bit to move Serena when she was in pain, at the end it was after all a competition.

But why would she like to garner sympathy? Players play to win and not to garner sympathy. Is there a way - higher the sympathy, higher your ranking or prize money?

It's true, they are not on the court to gain sympathy. Man they are beatable too. That's what Davenport, Sharaprova and henin proved it. But i love to watch Serena in full flow.

Bravo Serena

I saw the match yesterday in TV: She was in real pain, and people could see the tear in her eyes while the trainer worked on her calf muscles.
We should appreciate her mental strength in continuing with the game. She played the tie-break knowing she cannot run and hung in bravely with tears in her eyes.

The rain came as a blessing in disguise for her, giving her time to recover.

The audience who were supporting one sided to Hantuchova, were moved by her agony and started encouraging her.

Better luck next time Hantuchova.

Bravo Serena Bravo .. U r a thorough professional tennis player.
