I am great admirer of her game beause of her strength. The way she plays and the way she hanldes her opponent. Those who think that her time has passed are to rub their hands and say sorry.
Blacks are very powerful in "all respect".
Indian player (only one babe) is poor girl. She had to work hard.
I think all the material written on this Blog is crap regarding power of Tennis. Ladies Tennis has always been appreciated by Men as long as the beautiful girls like Chris Ever, Gabriala Sabatini, Stefi Graf, Sharpova etc were around. I was taken aback not finding any photo file of Sharpova while I openend this article. I havent read the article yet, nor I think I will.
There was the time when the graceful stroke-maker, the elegant Chris Evert battled with the tough and apparently invinvcible Martina Navratilova for a Grand Slam Final and it was joy watching the shots and ralleys. Then there were the Navratilova-Steffi Graf matches, deadly and bang on- you could not move from your place. And then came the Steffi Graf-Monica Seles finals, breathtaking in their powerful strokeplay and services, it was total excellence on show for a couple of hours. But what's happened to the qulity of Ladies' Tennis of late ? I remember the supposedly world no.1 Sharapova struggling against a low-numbered Sania Mirza in a particular 4th round match except for her superior serves. And this morning, the way Serena W. demolished Sharapova, what kind of game was it that we saw from the top-seeded player of the world ? While the standard of men's tennis has indeed gone ahead with Federer, Gonzales, Nadal etc., what are the girls doing ? Busy designing and matching their micro-mini sports skirts with their panties ? Surekha
sharapova is no doubt a great player but she has to improve a lot. she gets exhausted soon and does not have control over the rally. Though my all time favourite will be Steffy Graph

who cares...I like the beautiful girls of tennis..be it Stefi's Graph or...i wish women tennis have more players like Sania, sharapova, stefi, sabatini...
In the world of power-play tennis, the Williams sisters are bound to dominate. I'm not taking way any credit from Serena; however the only disturbing thing about this is Tennis seems less graceful as time goes by.
It was sheer determination and a will to prove nay-sayers wrong. The elation in her face on winning was testimony to the fierce inner motivation that was driving her. Great show, Serena. Hope that you and Maria continue a healthy balanced rivalry that will give us many more memorable matches in the future, like this one!!
ITS VERY UNFORTUNATE WITH MARIA.............U ARE TOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD & TOOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL & U PLAY VERY BEAUTIFULLY................SOOOOOOO SAD THAT U LOST.............NEVER MIND TRY IT NEXT TIME
