He had offers from Premiership and Italy but after playing for Man United and winning almost everything, there was no chance he would have played for clubs like Tottenham and NewCastle.
And he always wanted to finish his career in US and Victoria cud also be a reason to some extent.

even in the nadir of his prowess he ll demand equal amounts even in Europe...... he is the most marketable and advertised sports entity........ so he is worth it....
Good move as per his future.He is near the end of his career also although still he can play for England soccer team for a couple of years.I think his personality and calibre make a difference in USA football.And I hope he has a bright future in Hoolywood also if he want.
