Bad Move

I feel Beckham still can play at the top flight for another 2 to 3 years. He should have joined a team that can win something at the top club level like "Barcelona" "or" "Liverpool"

U gotta be kidding me! Do u honestly think Real would sell him to their arch-rivals. Agreed he's not the player he once was (actually i never rated him too high anyways) but he still is a golden goose, in marketing terms atleast !

Who cares??

LA Glaxy are going to expolit the name of Beckham for marketing and sales. I have doubt that move will popular soccer, which perceived as a boring sport, in north america. Soccer itself needs to modernize in terms of speed and telecast quality comparing to NFL, NBA, NHL for north americans. FIFA needs to work out to improve the game and make it more enticing to conquer north america.

he was not going to get selected in any european league. He is good in bringing crowds but not a great player anyway. He is already booted out of Engalnd team and so this is expected move pre-retirement

Two Bollywood songs can define Becks move - "Jai Jai money" and "Ganda hai par Dhanda hai ye"

Big Mistake
by PRATIK NANDA on Jan 12, 2007 06:44 PM

US soccer sucks and more over he is not in form for a while and he is leaving a team which ranks third in Spanish Premiera Liga (Real Madrid)and anyway no one wants him to play in EPL. Shouldn't have changed
