Agreed, minor air pockets can never create storms. But then, tell me, how serious are we Indians about sport? How lineantly does an average Indian family think about sport? What we Indians really give PRIORITY to, more than Sports, is BULLSHIT POLITICS (even in which, we are lagging far behind the world in Policy Making.) The many SPORTS COMPLEXES that are being built (just to Show - Off by Leaders) reflect the tale of lethargy more than anything. These are openly used as BROTHELS by interested elements who have the blessings of politicians & less for Sports Development (Maybe the leaders must be giving priority to Social Development!) This aside, we always shout about our sorry state in Olympics. Have you ever given a thought to the truth? Our Olympic contingent comprises only about 40% of players. Majority of rest are all Chamchas/ Relatives/ Friends of ministers or Officials who go for Sightseeing/ Shopping. Amid such Illuminating conditions, somebody like Paes, Sania are trying hard to keep our flame alive. And my countrymen post disheartening comments; it really amazes me! I really pray for the day when we stop thinking only of Cricket/ Football as A Sport & think of All Sports as a whole.
It is a pity that we feel proud of someone who loses in the semi finals and quarter finals and shower praises for the same when others would be ashamed of it. Sania it doesnt matter if you have made it to the semi finals or the quarter finals unless you win the tournament.

I don't know whom you mean by "others would be ashamed of it". The whole country feels proud of 15 men who last won world cup in 1983 that too as underdogs! Yes. In Kabadi & Carom we have had winners. But are you really ecstatic about that? How many individuals India currently have who excels at a famous sport?
Even if the title is playing on your mind, it makes no difference; still you would exit in the 2nd or 3rd round. First stop making such statements for the sake of them and instead show them in reality. After all, actions speak better than words
