All you people, who are against Sania, please think from bottom of your hearts, were you ever able to play or show your competiveness in any game as Sania has done? Then, why feel jealous? Feel happy that someone from your nation has achieved it.....grow up...please! The reason for her "publicity"..."fame"...."money" is because of her talent and nothing else......so if you want to prove her wrong, please do things that can put your names in the headlines of every news in India or shut your mouth and appreciate things than depreciate!

Are you thinking from the bottom of your heart. Nobody is jealous of sania. and however she is not famous because of her talents, she is famous because of the obvious other things.
I am not dissapointed with Sania's exit in the semis as the girl reached her second semis and she just played 3 tournaments,Hobart,Pataya and the Aus open. Its a good confident start and i can see the forehand working againts her opponents, her serve is so much more accurate and deadly sometimes and her backhand is always improving even though her backhand was not bad before. The year just started and her result is great and she will improve her game by the year goes on.She will be in the top20 this year end.All she needs is her confidence and belief that she is a winner a force to reckon to.Encouragement from few tennis fans in India and cheering her will help.Wish her the best for Bangalore open. Many top ten players have been ranked very high before they won any tournament or title like the powerful Nadia Petrova and many other top players so Sania is on the right track.
Dear Rediff friends, esp those who have been writing unreadable messages about Sania. My request - Next time Sania plays a match, instead of looking her with an evil motive, imagine her as your sister or daughter. Cheer her while she plays, even if you watching her on TV. Then you will realize the power of faith and cheer. At the same time, look at yourself. Did you always win ? Or even try ? We as Indians, are known around the globe as the most sporting nation in both wins and losses. So what if we don't always win ?
Carry on Sania, we are with you. Just play to win and if you don't, try harder next time. good Luck and Cheers to your game.

Thing is whoever speaking against sania are not asking her to stop playing...They wish her to show talent in game than in words and in sports nowhere one should go for compromise like getting last b4 one is also good...if so then they are not seeing sports or sania for game but for other thing as like supporting glamorous actress...SO in sports,no compromise and only win is expected atleast not every game but atleast one international level with more periodicity
Even Maria Sharapova didnt talk so mmuch as a teen...("My aim is top 10" etc etc )
If she keeps her mouth shut and concentrates on tennis....ppl will not abuse her like they do now...!
She shuld take an example of Leander Paes..the best Indian Tennis player....he didnt open his mouth as much as her even though he won so many tournaments.
No doubt she is best Indian tennis player...but she shuld not raise Indian expectations by talking big..doing less..

There are some strategies for self-improvement. Watching positive dreams and daring to say helps to prove the words. Being a sport person, I am sure Sania use to gave such statements which shows are positive approach towards her gave and to bring pride to the nation. We may not compare two playes as it depends on the nature. Just enjoy her gave and cheer for the nation, if you can! Good luck Sania!!!

Subu ... why don't you play and win at least one league game and then talk all this nonsense. Don't just use your mouth to blabber

subu is right in every sense. why should subu go and play tennis... it is her job and not subu's to play tennis. she is being paid for it... whatever field one is in be it in IT, commerce, arts, sports... you get paid for what u do as long as people do their job good it is fine enough... it is like some small scale entrepreneur who is always in losses saying he will be ambani soon.... there should be reasonable goals.

Hello! She is one who put India on the tennis mas not you! and to Sania!, you have done great job. loosing in a game is not the end of everything or even anything ..it is part and parcel of a routine learning..you lose some and gain some..but in the end it matters that you..YOU are able to come up ..COME UP TO THE HEIGHTS..which many could not scale..congrats for sheer hard work!
I was just watching all the news about Sania. I feel very bad about the comments. I agree that the comments must be constructive, but at the same time everyone must think twice before commenting and how much hurting or damaging the comments. Please restrain from making damaging or discouraging comments. It is very easy to comment than to be in the middle of the crowd to perform consistently.
I r was expected. She is not international player/She is Indian player overrated by media. She there just to make ample money and we fool Indians praise her.
there r too many people commenting for d poor show.....can anybody of them have played at state level even?its easier to bark than perform....life is tough in dat arena..how many indians are in sania's league?none...so encourage her..she is our gem...

YOu are perfectly right...she's the only one female responsible for shifting the attention to tennis in a cricket mad nation like ours...

This is news !!! If she is lost then you will know only when it is reported, not having headlines as "She is our gem" although she is.

calling her a fraud is shameful......against our indianness...n by the way how is she fraud...by being a top 50 player in world ranking...dear dat rankin doesnt cm by media hype..it takes lot of sweat n blood out of person........u seem to have lost ability to judge...in which game r u champion?ludo..or smthin called SPITTIN SHITS..
