hi there i'am peter. i would like 2 know when is the other edition of the asia cup this year? could i know the date n the month?just hope INDIA defends its title.guess the chances r very very slim n dim.no adding politics.mr pillay has a class of his own n should b in the team 4 the olmpics if india qualifies.thanks.
its preety sad 2 c dhanraj out of PHL.To be honest enough i used to watch Indian hockey only because of Dhanraj Pillay.the charismatic Indian star is out of PHL and there is no reason of keeping him out. Dhanraj has played in the National Hockey Tournaments and he still remains the best , his performance has gone down in years but he is the best still. India's loss to China means now we should play kabbadi and guli-dunda .Who should be blamed for it?India misses the services of Pillay.. Pillay rules the Indian Hockey He is the Golden Boy of Indian Hockey and MR. Jyoti and Mr. Gill , i believe for you to retire from the game and join Indian politics.. Vardan Lama
y the hell does kps gill cringe to the postion, is that it is very lucrative or is it a status symbol.....? i am a close follower of hockey and it clearlyshows a decline in the qualtiy of hockey being played.... ps MR GILL this is a humble request... pls leave..let some one better take ur post and ressurect good ol hockey...

I don't know why this right message is reported for abuse!!!Those IHF men have absolutely ruined the Indian hockey team. Constant chopping of players and needless experimentation have not allowed the formation of one strong hockey team over the years.Indian hockey was going great somewhere in the late nineties, where we managed to beat Pakistan regularly. It was a time when our players gained hell of confidence that they can beat Pakistan consistently. Dhanraj was the captain at those good times. It can't be denied that Dhanraj is a volatile personality, but he is still the best forward in our country. He might have had some sort of friction with IHF, but the way IHF has treated him is shameful, because it is at the expense of the national pride. We must feel grief when we say hockey is our national game.Poor performances in the world cup, asian games, the need to qualify for the nest olympics indicates Indian hockey is in abyssal depths.
Dhanraj certainly has 2 or 3 years of hockey still left in him.He can always be used intelligently as part of rolling substitution. However Joytikumaran does not want him to play. These people are of no use and should be kicked out,I cant really understand how these people are able to do shit and get away with it.Dhanraj Pillay ,we are always with you!!!!

Our Great Dhanraj is Absolutely Right. Mr. Gill & Mr. Jyothikumaram should resign. I do not understand how they still hold on to their posts like Fevi-Kwiks......Resign for Good of Indian Hockey......I also do not understand why the Indian Sports Minister is quite in the matter. If he can't ask them to reign.....he should step down as India's Sports Minister.
I think india should stop playing international matchs for some time becuase of internal politcs now india is not in a position to qualify for semis in asian games. we should appoint IHF chief the person who know's the game and should work for country's name
I wonder what media is doing! First it's Viren, now Dhanraj. Is there anyone in the media to question Mr. Gill and Mr. Jyoti? Is there any responsible media left to raise issue properly for our national sport? Shame on all channels who run to cover Abhishek-Ash Sagai, but do not have time to question these crooks. Yes! I will say crooks to them.
Its time to say bye to present IHF Administrators and the politics played by those guys.. Those guys are useless and they should be thrown out of the service immediately..As Danraj said that he still have lots of hockey left with him. He is a very good sportsman who can challenge any international team in this world.Danraj should return to IHF and take in charge as captain and show his experience..
What the sports ministry does though there is straight declaine in our National Game (hockey)... Who is going to make the intiative to stop these nonsence... Its time to say good bye to Mr.Gill and Mr.Jyotikumaran.... As long as they will be there, threat for Indian Hockey is always there
