who made this guy an expert on F1 ??

Quite funny,
a politician, a liquor "baron", airline owner, even a "womaniser".... are some of the phrases you hear associated with Vijay Mallaya.

True enough, he is successfull, but just because he had the influence and cash to buy an F1 team, who made this guy an expert on assessing Chandok's driving skills?

Im not saying karun is ready and only waiting for a call up, but you would expect an Indian to be supportive to another, and not come out and say something negative the first time around!

You should know that Mallya has been involved in F1 since the 70s. He was the first one from india to drive an F1 car in the 70s.

So know your stuff before shooting your mouth

Why shout from rooftops abt the fact that India has a formula one team owner. Imagine how it would suck when the commentrator announces Force India in 18th 19th, last or crashed out. And no Mr Mallya its not old fashioned people, but sensible, equally patriotic people who ask why India in the name, obviously a pompous old fart who apes firangees and is happy to be nicknamed India's Richard Branson won't understand

dear kalpen,
you've possibly never left the country , and hence dont realise the need to improve the marketing of india! people around some parts of the world, have a low opinion of india..because of low standard of education in the west (honest)...so yes, even if force india do not perform as well as i'd like..just to have a car out there is the way forward!

dear ritwik, i'm born in the uk and then spent 5 years in india, from the age of 5 to 9! education at an early age in the west ( 3 to 16) is basic..for me to send my 2 kids to private school will cost me £70,000..about rs 40 lachs?? obviously my knowledge should be greater than yours since i've experienced both??

On an everage they like Indians for thier technical abilities. I feel we should give a thought on atleast using Deo if not perfume. Deos do not cost much. Client here at onsite is complaining about the personal hygine of Indians:-)
All the best to F1 team!!! -Chaks

Buddy, as mallya says the word India is not your or my patent. I love my country, so I can name my child as India. You cant blame me for that if he turns out to be a failure. Like wise malya can use name India in his team. The point to watch is wether he puts serious effort in bringing the team into better place. I really hope so.
