I think schumi is right to tell ralf to think about retirement instead of driving with force india..........i mean think logically ralf is basically moving backwards in the teams....he was with williams that was good then moved to the new toyota which didnt get him far and now moving to force india which we all know is the Minardi.............Schumi just means that with force india he doesnt have a shot at winning races leave alone the championship......atleast that will not happen in the 1st few years unless Ferrari , Mclaren and the top teams retire from F1.......
You cannot say ur a fan and then say no just because of what he said think properly......some of these comments here are just not necessary

Ralf Schumacher has good potential and he wont be able to achieve much if he joins Force India as it is a new team and no new team does well straight from the start no matter how much funding they can get.
Michael is right in telling Ralf to retire instead of Joining Force India as Ralf is down grading himself instead of upgrading. Whatever happens it will be good if Rlaf remained in F1 but only if its in a better team.
Since Force india is a new team they should get rookie drivers not someone with Ralf's experience. No one would encourage a experienced F1 driver to join the slowest car in F1....Hope force india does well but everyone knows the chances are very limited of them getting points in 2008...
Anyone who is a true schumi fan will just appreciate this (as racing is still in him).......everyone knows schumi loves driving and also in germany there is isnt much of a speed limit. also for the guy who said that he doesnt care about his wife/gf.he cares about his family the most. thats one of his main reasons for leaving F1.........and when they say he drove fast to the airport it doesnt mean that he put a ferrari engine to the car it just means that he drove through traffic using his skills to get to the airport quickly....and for all those complaining u dont need to, as u hardly know much............just ask the cab driver how he felt and his response should be counted i doubt he was disappointed.....
Looks like schumi found a job fitting his calibree!!! i used to be his fan...but after he insults a indian F1 team let him go to hell or worse become a taxi driver!!! i hate it when he advised his brother to retire rather than crawling in a car, "i dont even know the name of the team"...Force India how hard can it be to remember that!!! the jerk!!!
Enough of this news...Stop publishing this crap...who cares what happened there...I question the journalist in the point blank range...dont you have better job to do than writing this posting the content..give a deep thought about it..how does it matter what schumi did to the people of India..give us a break man..i think you are taking too much lenience on public time..

Hey ramakrishna, If you made the choice to click-open this article and now you complain! By the way, the writer this wrote this article not on public time but on money paid by this company. So if we do not like the article we have the option to stay away.
By the way, it is a Reuters article that Rediff has paid for and I have seen this article in many news portals Indian and International. Clearly, it means there is a demand for such news... perhaps you are not the target audience.

That is the problem Mr Super. All the newspapers are carrying this crappy article. there is nothing important to read in any newspaper.
well, everyone here knows his driving skills. he is good and he proved it . But why did he need to take a taxi in the first place ????? doesn't he have his own car to drop his parents to the airport ??? answers anyone ????

oye tomahawk.... schumacher tera papa lagta hai.... family likha hai... wife nd kids nahin... kahin tu toh nahin tha woh taxi driver..!!
You cant think of that here in India... Narain Karthikeyan or even Schumacher Snr, cant ride like that in India in general & Bengaluru in particular... We dare him to repeat that feat here...

germany does not have an upper speed limit in most places of their autobahn, which means in these streches he can give full throttle! In Indian highways going above 80 km/hr for a considrible distance itself is a great achievement !!!

Ya. And specially on Bangalore Airport road. If he is gona try that then I am sure he'll not be able to catch his next flight also. :)))
Nothing unbeleivable in this guys - we have heard stuff like this before, right - how Ayrton Senna used take journalists in his cab round Rio at break-neck speed!
Well, I dont believe this news absolutely. This write up seems to be rather inspired by the movie Ta Ra Rum Pum.
Well, Schumi really need not hurry to catch a flight. He has two private jets for himself. The jets could wait for him. Being a private man about his family and personal life, he wouldnt travel in an airline!
Another moot point is that most of these race drivers rarely drive crazy in cities/traffic. They have already tasted the excitement elsewhere. They have nothing left to prove, that too on city roads!!

Vikas, this is a news taken from Reuters. So this should have happened in reality....

He might have taken the Autobahn. It is possible to drive on the Autobahn, which bypasses the citi roads. Private Jets can not be taken in the winter times especially near Bayern(Bavaria) because of the fogs and continuous snowfall. A much robust commercial Airlines was perhaps needed for this unavoidable circumstances.
