when these fixtures are confirmed last year, india was not in top 8, after winning the asian cup then ony we moved to top8, these teams are qualified based on last year rankings.that is why india was not there.

I think the decision to play 8 teams was taken couple of months back when Malaysia was awarded host instead of Pakistan. Then why did they go for last year ranking?
Its really sham for indian hocket managment, poll out kalmari and gill from managment and find out player from all part of india not only from panjab companies please be indian and invest money

I have one question for you. How often you see hockey matches. Because company goes with the trend. If more and more people will watch hockey then definitely companies will invest money in hockey.

It's the other way. If India starts winning matches, people will watch hockey and then the company sponsorship. No one wants to watch the losers.

Mohit look at cricket how often we win in cricket? very few so it is depend on media that how they present games to people and how they got sponsors. Look at boxing it is exiting for USA and UK only because there is lot of money invested their where as look at hockey. You can compare by money and people will come automatically.

Suheb qazi.tell me how many players are there in indian team from punjab except 3-4.You have to pick the best although all r from the same state
