Man..You need some help I believe. Where are the racist comments here??

He is just implying that Force India is pathetic car. Its unfortunate just because the car is has a word India, doesn't make it superior.

Oh yeah, I am Indian too living very much in India.

Schumi's comments
by Super User on Dec 10, 2007 08:11 PM  | Hide replies

Lets put it into perspective. Schumi would have given the same advice even if the team had a name "Force Germany".

The fact is the car is not going to be fast even to fight for a finish on most races. It is a big mistake on Mallaya's part to name it "Force India". Why drag India's name in one private venture, which is not going to be very successful. I feel he named it so to cash in on the vast Indian following but this is one marketing gimmick that will not work!

Hey Super User, Well said.. Schumacher(s) will have probably that to say even if it was named Force Germany.

However, I dont agree with the fact that the marketing is not ok... yes, it is a gimmick, but apparently the interest in F1 has increased by more than tenfold by this Forec India gimmick than since Narain Karthikeyan was involved in F1.

mallya shouldnt have named the team as ''force india''
by raj on Dec 10, 2007 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

given that he purchased a lower rung team which will never win a championship - why name it after india ? its more like "farce india".

Never underestimate the shrewed mallya, he purposely named it Force India instead of King Fisher becoz with this name he can garner millions worth in sponsorship from other Indian cos. like Tatas, Infosys, Air India, Indian tourism etc.Its not for nothing that he a very succesful Indian abroad as well. One can a learn a thing or two abt marketing from this fella.

Agree. It is us Indians who are too nationalist. No other car has a country's name.
What is next? Islamic force, Hindu and Xtian force....?

I am amazed by your interpretation of Shumi's advise! All he said was don't waste your time with slow cars...and what an interpretation.
Do you have anything against Shumi???

This is media for you....

When Modi during an election campaign said " if we come to power...gujarat will be safe and secure" THE MEDIA puts it forward as "Modi says if you do not vote for us, you will not be safe"

Media is just another form of cheap b-grade bollywood

Your are misinterpretating Great Micheal's comments
by vikas k on Dec 10, 2007 06:57 PM  | Hide replies

Micheal asked his brother to retire
instead of spoiling their family name
by finishing 2nd last or last.
Ralf didnt do well in tests with force
india team.

Micheal presented Sachin with a Ferrari..
plz dont post such blunders in future
and waste our time.

You should begin by spelling names correctly. It is Michael. It is not Micheal.

In business there is no room for sentiments...Its purely business dude...I dont think he has done anything wrong by not signing narain...I think India should be grateful to mallya for naming his team as Force India rather than team kingfisher...
