Go Sania!... GO

Dont quite understand some of the messages below...
Guys...she is world no 26! and has achieved something no Indian women has in one of the world's most popular sport.

Some people below are cribbing ...there were many other athlethes in the India like PT usha, Humpy, anju george etc who didn't sufficient media hype or Govt support as Sania.
First of all why Blame Sania for that?
And did Sania get any support from Govt to make it to this stage?
Also understand sport like Tennis are more "hyped" than sports like athletics in the world and india is no exception.
So obviously chances of getting attention, 'hype' would differ based on the different sports. Right?

If you are watching her "game"...Agreed she is not consistent, her service not that great but she hits the ball hard, is very attacking comapred to most women in the circuit who just play from the baselines and boring us to death. Point is she is different and ger "game" is attractive and on her day (when she makes less unforced errors) capable of beating the best in business.

She may or may not win grand slams. But the sheer impact she is making cannot be over looked. Perhaps its because of her that we now get to see girls barely in teens holding racquets in our country and hitting the courts.
Time Magzine has rated her one of the 100 persons who have the potential to change the world!

US Open : Sania enters second round - Well done.
by cajetan coelho on Aug 29, 2007 01:32 PM

Let us keep encouraging our Indian tennis players in the ongoing US Open. Sania, Paes, Bhupathi, Bopanna and their colleagues continue to provide inspiration to youngsters in our country. May there be many more Indians taking part in the Grand Slams in the years to come.

Do not write ''go sania go''

Do not keep writing "go, sania, go"

She mistakes it and goes out of the tournaments early.
