y only sania got so much hype.. y not anju baby george, Mithali Raj, Rashmi Sharma, MC Marykom y indian women silver medal in hockey at lords is so unheard of or there likes...y is everybody after sania what have she achieved in last 5 just gettng seeded at US open is not achievment..Just Being from well off Muslim family...and parading in knickers shudnt make it to headlines now n then...there are many lying in villages & vying for attention.
Rohan Boppanna&Aisam Qureshi have won their fourth ATP Challenger doubles title in a row.But its quite strange to see that Sania"s first round victory is given more importance-&obvious loss in second or third round.

Thats because its a ATP "Challenger" and not a regular ATP/WTA tournament. I don't think its the case of hype... Sania has achieved what no other Indian woman has ever achieved in WTA or for that matter even Leander/Mahesh could not in their singles ATP career.

That is an Eye Opener,i never knew about this.Thanks my friend.National Games that were held in Manipur is still fresh in memories,the state was second in over all position,which is the testimony of the fact that there is a lot of talent there.Dinko Singh was another good star in making,buteventually disappeared.state govt. too has important role to play in such cases.Government has to give more infrastructure and faclities to groom such hidden talents.
