finally jokovic comes of age...

its extremely pleasing to see someone challange the authority of swiss king on his one of the favourite turfs. anyway after watching jokovic play in the last two slams it could be anybody's guess that he is the force to reckon with now. he is one of those few to be gifted with an all-court game along with phenomenal temperament. its not for nothing that the great, john mcanroe already considers him a great player...so guys get ready for a much for interesting seasons ahead with players like fedex, rafa, jokovic, gasquet n roddick fighting out for those coveted four....

Djokovic is a wonderful player. The way he played in the Montreal masters final against Fedex shows he has a looooooong way to go.He is going to be a force to recoken with in the coming days, hopefully a challenge to Fedex.

A hope for Tennis at last!

Federer was finally beaten at his own game, in his arena - on hard court by Djokovic.

I sincerely hope that this is the beginning of the end of Federer's era, for he has been dominating the sport quite unchallenged.

Although, Rafa has managed to keep Fedex from owning the clay courts for the last three years, he has a long way to go before he can challenge Fedex on his own turf.

Djokovic seems to be able to do that and has given die-hard tennis fans like me a hope that Tennis can now be saved from becoming a one-man show.

I look forward to both Nadal and Djokovic claiming more titles in the future!

The level of competition in mens tennis is intense. Just when everyone was thinking that Federer had no competition, here comes someone who rocks the boat.

Meanwhile for the sake of political correctness women get equal prize money.

I have seen Sania play only on TV. Her forehand strokes remind me of Ganguly when he hits boundaries on the offside. Fantastic. But the moment she is taken from side to side her game suffers. If a woman of her limited abilities can be 30th in the world, it shows the standard of tennis in the womens section. And these women want to be given equal prize money.

We saw in Wimbledon, how two sisters who play on and off made mincemeat of the opposition. Henin game was exposed for its limitations. Serena must be the heaviest player among men and women. Still, she was able to beat most of her opponents. As far as I am concerned, other than these two, the rest of the players reach the top because there is no real competition.

That is why the sponsors insist that the players wear such skimpy see-thru dresses.

Anika Sorenstam wants to play in the mens division. When Vijay protested he was called an MCP by the politically correct press.
