Rooney is overhyped

Rooney is just a poster boy for the english press who contantly make heros out of nothing in their football team...EPL is such an uncompetetive league where there is very little competetion for the top 4...

Ya thats true.. Santhosh trophy is the most competitive league. You should be kidding. Where else can you see more than 4 world class teams playing for league. Spanish, Italian, German, French???

Both the Spanish and Italian leagues are far better than EPL...just look at Spanish league...Barca and Real have to fight every game to win the champ...look at the competetion frm Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal and others...

In EPL if u score 40 points then there is no way tht u would be relegated but the same is not the case with Spanish or the Italian league...tell me how many Brazilian footballers actually prefer EPL...they dont because of the heavy defensive style of game tht these guys play gives no chance for beautiful football...no wonder tht teams like liverpool have been so successfull in Europe inspite of struggling to beat lesser teams in EPL...and lastly u dont have to compare EPL with Santosh trophy to prove u r point

After saying Barca in front of real(even though real where champions) I think u support Barca. Its good that u think that ur team is the best and the league that u see is the best. But as far as the competitions are concerned its happening only here in England. A few years back Spanish league was the best not now. Italian league lost all its glory in the last two seasons. Even though AC Milan won champions league last season they were not even close to title holders in there division. But three English teams where present in the last four. So its pretty obvious.
If u think its safe for a premier league club to score 40 points and feel safe, I think u should check whats happening with other leagues. 35 for spanish league and 36 for Italian league. I think u should really check data before u say something.

Its 39 in both Spanish and Italian leagues...and in 04-05 season a team that scored 42 points was actually relegated in Italian league...so thats stats for u but it hardly matters for u don't compare leagues based on the bottom 4 teams

Ok...u think AC milan winning Champ league was not good enough to prove their worth then look at their record and compare it with the records of teams in EPL...how many EPL teams hae won the Champ league in the recent past...Liverpools win was at best a freak show on a bizzare night...At the moment, leaving ManU and Chelsea there are no teams in EPL that can consistently beat any other top filght European team...thts how EPL and the transfer of Thierry Henry has perhaps robbed it of its most entertaining star...

I think you dint read what I said. There were top class teams in those leagues a few years back. I Watched Real, Barca, Valencia, Seville, AC mIlan ,Inter, Roma, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manu, chelsea and Lyon last season.
If you ask me who played the best football overall I would say Arsenal or Manu. But if you want just one match I would say AC Milan in Champions league semifinal against Manu was the best match of the last season.
Even though the team that I support was defeated by Manu in Champions league and eventhough I hate their mentality, I do think that in the last two/three seasons English premier league was the best especially after the emergence of Chelsea. I dont think Thierry Henry's arrival will be a great boost for Barca considering the problems that were there between Ronaldinho Eto and Rijkaard.
And try not go back. See whats happening with Bayern. They always believed there history and forgot to bring real class players to the team. Now they are suffering. Live in present and check whts happening now. :)
