by Ravi Mehta on Aug 04, 2007 08:28 PM  | Hide replies

With these achievements has she got closer to the top 10 ranking?? If not already there, she must be pretty close to it now!! If and when the rankings get released that is!!

What do you then expect her to wear while playing tennis - a Purdah ? You assshole.... Only people like you make women especially Muslim women lag behind.... Shame to have posted your worthless comments

sania is India's pride. she is playing very well and has the potential of getting into the first 25 this year. as for your comment on sania and her parents, in case you don't know for your information - islam does not permit to look at other women, how did you come to know she is showing her body? stop peeping and worry about what will happen to you in the hell sir.

If a quarterfinal appearance and one final in a category 3-4 tourno and a whole year full of 1st round and 2nd round exits can get a player into the top 10, then every tennis player would be a top 10 player at some point of their career. Shes a good top 50 player. I dont think shes got the talent to be a top 20 player as womens tennis has become very competetive. Shes about 10 years late, her talent could have had her in the top 20s a decade ago. The girls today have stronger serves and good groundstrokes and womens tennis has become a power game. All said shes a great rep for India and good luck to her.

You are right Rakesh, i just checked her latest ranking and she is 31 right now!!
If she can jump 16 places in 1 year, maybe the day is not far off when she can be in the top 10!!
Also, you know that a good Grand Slam performance wins you more points!! Imagine she making it to the quarterfinals at the US open!! Anything more than that is not realistic at this stage!!

Just to emphasize your message, you are spot on. But, if she can improve her serve and return she could grab the attention of quite a few.

Well done Sania. I'm envious that even after being thrashed by most players, you still earn enormous amounts of money and admiration. I wish I could be like you.

Well said Saquib, it is easy for people to sit back in an AC room and make such comments!! They don't realize the effort that a young tennis player has to put!!

Check your doll without makeup. She plays well though, when Serena, Venus and Justine are not around.

Another classic thrashing. And again and again. There's no winning
by C Kr on Aug 04, 2007 05:12 PM  | Hide replies

Why do ppl go gaga about a completely overhyped loser? Others have won a lot more at years younger. Why hype a run through II/III tier tournaments like it's some GSlam win? How pathetic. Don't keep saying at least she has come this far - what low expectations as a nation then?

Sania is a loser. Time to accept.
