congrats Naren
by Sriram Narayanaswamy on May 01, 2007 09:56 AM

Its India's best ever showing at this competition. So congrats to the team and especially to Naren for that.

It really doesn't matter if A1 = F1 since thus far, we were good at neither, and Naren has put us on the racing map with his achievements.

the class of A1
by gaurav kishore on Apr 30, 2007 09:14 PM  | Hide replies

you see naraian quit F1 coz F1 needs way more talent and A1 is nowhere near it and see the difference in F1 he used to get 17th or18th place while in A1 he got 4th position where there r abt 20 cars.in theUS gp two years ago there were only 6 cars but narain could manage only 4 position.he didnt even defeat his own team mate

Narain was driving an outdated Jordan in F1. In A1 the cars cannot be wildly behind because of sharing of basic car.

I think he was good enough to reach F1. But not enough to get that extra point over the opponents.

Fact remains he is yet to win and lets just accept it. Thats the reason we are lagging behind coz we are happy with 4th, 5th, 6th i mean ath after 1st its satisfactory for us. This complacence in our attitudes takes away the killer instinct throwing us out of the contention

Yes...

Cricket... One boke hits the ball the others collect! Why doesn't he just pass the ball to whoever he like.

Football... Everybody just kicks a ball. Why don't they take a brak and drink beer!

Athletics... Crazy... They keep running and jumping for no reson!

Sleeping! Howe about that?

Come on...

Hi Guys,

I was in seeing the race live in the brands hatch . Germany was behind UK in the pit, but what a move by the german at the start of the race. The first 5 laps was cat and mouse game with robe carr trying to find a gap to overtake the german.

fantastic race.

He is not racing for Coimbatore. He is representing INDIA in an International Stage. You should be proud to be an INDIAN. Nobody would take notice of Karthikeyan had he been racing for Coimbatore, excepting a few fanatics like you. Karthikeyan has now become a global figure only because he is representing India and not because he is representing some gully in Coimbatore. You foolish fanatics better understand. God, save India from these regional fanatics. FYI, I'm tamilian too.

Since the other countries don't have sponsors, they put their country name....

Country name is mandatory at one place and it can be seen at the back side of the car.

the country name should be ignored...

A1 is about racing between diferrent countries

if they are so bothered abt their brand let then race in F1 and put their brand everywhere
