India certainly has the potential to be a power in sports. There is plenty of talent all over the country. We need to develop centres of excellence in our rural areas. Footballers and other sportspersons in Europe often hail from villages and the hinterland. It is time to invest in people and areas hitherto neglected. Give them opportunities and they will roar like tigers.

Yeah, and all Ministers and police commissioners will become the leaders of each sport council all over this god-forsaken poverty-stricken land - some good that will do for sports in this fetid corrupt land run by self-serving, power-hungry, egotistical megalomaniacs. Why, it most certainly will make India a "sportin' tiger" - it stands to reason, yessiree!
