It just took two sets for Martina Hingis to burst the hot-air baloon named Sania Mirza. It was like a learned master deflating ego of a cocky student. Sania does not have the physique nor the agility nor good service or court coverage required to beat top ranked players. The only thing Sania has in abundance is arrogance, attitude and perhaps above average forehand. Dear Sania competition jeetne ke liye SPRITE nahi fitness or temperament hona jaroori hai.
It seems whenever Sania gets a tough opponent she goes down without fighting. Indian public has such a less number of people to look upto that a minor success like Sania has become a celebrity in her own right.
Other than attending fashion shows and charities she needs to think seriously about here game. It seems that the current infrastructure she has available in India is not sufficient and she might have to undergo a rigorous training abroad say USA. She might also consider changing her coach and try something which can help her in future.
