It is really embarassing even to read in newspaper about the current Indian teams performance in world cup . The players lack the stamina to play in the senior section. Any other coach would die of shame looking at the teams performance. Is KPS gill dead ? or did he take sanyas ? What the heck is he doing being the president of IHF ? It's the right time for the shameless president to sack all the players and concentrate on the overall hockey infrastrucure in INDIA. It might take 2-3 years to show results and it is much better than a hopeless performance at world cup.
Instead of making any changes to the team, the dictators of IHF,i.e. KPS Gill and Jothikumaran, should be thrown out. I believe every hockey lover has this suggestion. Unless this suggestion gets implemented, Indian hockey will never raise to the level as it was in the past.
And this is to all you current bunch of players playing for India...we are really disappointed with your game. I hope that you guys have solid unity in the team, not only on the field but also off it. All the very best for the Asian Games.
