The world needs many more sportspersons like André !
by Dr. Cajetan Coelho on Sep 19, 2006 12:27 AM

André has been a fine sportsman and a shining ambassador of peace and good will. His concern and involvements in the projects for the betterment and upliftment of the less privileged are noteworthy.

Like André, tennis players, footballers, cricketers, film stars and others who are hugely blessed by nature, talent and good fortune could certainly partcipate in the re-making and re-shaping of the world of the marginalised, oppressed and the downtrodden.

As a tennis player André kept on mesmerising one and all with his dazzling artistry for over two decades.
Thanks for the memorable moments !

Agassi the champion

Agassi is a great champion who will be remembered for his never-say-die spirit as much as his style quotient. He might have lost the game but has won many hearts.

Good Bye Agassi
by Kunal Hajra on Sep 04, 2006 11:09 AM

Finally the time has come to bid adieu to one of the greatest player of all times. The way Agassi carried himself both in his professional and personal life is an eye opener to all. There are players who appears to tear apart the opposition from the first serve, but here is this man who slowly crumbled upon the opponent and wins over every heart in the court. He was my most adorable player in the circuit and inspite his growing age and aching back he matched everyone with his silken touch. The speciality about him is that he has played alongside the champions of different era but still he has left his indelible mark in tennis hall of fame and winning all the four grand slams over a period of 20 years is no mean achievement. Thanks for all the good things you showed us. I wish him all the best and hope he will continue the good work with his charity. Hats off Agassi!! You have been very special.

i am a very big fan of Andre Agassi. he's risen out of the dark to make a comeback. coincidentally, my fav female tennis player had been steffi graf. when they announced their marriage, i was the first one to be happy.
Time flies and people get older. it is really lovely to see the two of them settle down so well. it is rightly said he has grown to be a Statesman on court and just seeing him on court is lovely. his elderly feeling and the recent times have definitely shown a change in the man that he is.
wishing Agassi a long life and may he continue the good work he's started.
