If there's one person who can do it, Michael can! If he can nail those crucial in & out laps when it counts or hold up a faster car on sheer threads, if he can blast down the dusty part of a pit lane hugging the boundary wall or drive that inch-perfect line, time after time after time...he can do this! Lets hope in his enthusiasm Alonso runs off the track right, after Schumi blows past him...once more!!

It's true, schumi can. In fact, I think he has more chances than Alonso. I think Alonso will find it hard to complete the race unless he is in pole in qualifying or atleast in the second place. The number of ppl (in all levels in F1) supporting Ferrari and Schumi is too dangerous for Alonso who has little support, even from his teammate. To say Alonso has done it till now against heavy odds would not be wrong. However, only a first row at the start of the race can help Alonso's cause. By now he and his team must be already aware of it.

Schumi shouldn't give up. Coz he just has to look around him and he'll find that each one in his own way is trying to help him. Some trying to encourage him, some trying to get the best technology for him, some trying to bring down his opponents (as in stewards at the Italian grand prix), while some (read Max Mosley) trying to bring down opponents technology. After all this suppport, if Alonso wins it's just unfortunate. Also, schumi should know that there are drivers who are his admirers and might also help him (read xyz's car collides with Alonso's car, taking Alonso out of the race)

@Varun: Amen to that. Can't say that the thought abt xyz's car ramming into Alonso hasn't entered my mind. But that would spoil schumi's legacy.
Lets hope it happens behind the camera and that some Renault mechanic puts a spanner in the works (so to speak). It will be worth it. In any case, F1 will no longer be the same without M Schumacher.
A win for Schumi and he constructors title for Ferrari should be good enough at Brazil.
Lets hope it happens (fingers crossed) BUT in case Schumi wins the championship.... that shriek resounding through the air belongs to me ;)
