We expected she could score some more cricket runs in the rating. With this kind of progression she will touch the hundred score like cricket batting in next year. As from her own words she has accepted that she is not a born tennis player.We should be happy that she is inside 100 after all. Even this ranking is too much for the talent which she has. I dont think she can perform anything beter than this. Almost all of her wins happened when the opponents are out of form and if the opponents are in form like when Maria Sharapova was in top form, she gets beaten 6-1 6-2. Sania mirza is just a start for womens tennis. Lets just hail the achievements made by Mahesh Bhupati and Leander Paes.
Sania is nothing more than hype, she has a decent forehand, and thats about it. Her serve, and backhand are aweful, with such a limited game she cant go into top 20. And rediff calls her an "icon", well thats hillarious, cuz till now the word "ICON" has been used for ppl like Sachin Tendulkar, Gavaskar, Wasim Akram, dont think Sania is or ever will be close to those guys

it is human tendency that once you are financially in any sport/field, your commitment to your goals will recede and hence you fail.because of lot of money flow from ads,sponsorships,sports personnel lose games bacause of lack of commitment..
Lots of hype.. she is not even the best sports woman from India. media persons and corporate companies are making her a big public figure.thats.I am sure she will never win any other tittle except Hyd Open.
Sania, definetely lost her way since start of this year right from australian open, as other say advertisement engrosments could be a reason but the way she played all over the year suggests she is not able to cope up with the pressure at the top level hope she proves us wrong next year and get back to her winning ways.
