First of all, congos to Nehwal. And Rediff, maybe you should specify in the title that its a Sania NEHWAL and not Sania 'loser' Mirza who won the open. It could lead to quite some confusion. I, for one was mighty surprised that Mirza actually won something. Thankfully I was brought back to ground reality when I read the article.
All I can say is, well done Saina... and keep it up!! Kudos to you for performing much above expectations... However, don't make this your destination. This is just a stepping stone in a long and glorious path in your career. Take one step at a time, and climb the heights of success. A population of over a billion looks forward to hearing more of your exploits in the future!
It is extremely pleasing to see a youngster achieve in a game other than cricket. I feel proud and happy and sania deserves a huge congrats...hope this inspires others and sania to achieve more.
It was great to know that Saina has won the 4 star tournament. It was like a fresh breather particularly for a sport which has fetched less media coverage and public spotlight.
Great going. I wish she get more success and given her age, committment and coach (Gopichand), I am sure she would achieve much for herself and country.
congrats !she has done India proud ,i have watched her in common wealth games ,its sad there is no media coverage inspite of her acheivment ,its high time other sports person are given their due ,i thing this deserve a mention more than our lost at cricket , keep it up saina
Congratulations to Saina. This country, always intoxitated with the bunch of unpredictable cricketers, these type of wins by Saina, Rathore unfortunately does not get due recognition- let us start genuinely supporting these achievers- the media must play a big role in promoting genuine heroes of indian sports, and not the non-deserving cricketers.
