The quality and class of the two goals scored by Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard and one by striker Cisse were of high merit. Otherwise West Ham was as good as the Mersey side if not better. Rival managers Raf Benitez and Pardew and all their players need to be applauded for providing high voltage drama on an eventful evening of top class football.
