Learn from BCCI

BAI must learn from BCCI on how to conduct matches and get the best players.
Today india is one of the top team in the world.
When the ODI game was introduced Indians had not a chance to beat england, SA, WI or Aussies.
Today ODI cricket is a money spinner so much that BCCI has sold telecast rights for the games for over $1 billion to the sports channels.
And therefore, with so much moeny in the game of cricket is it any surprise when a politician Sharad Pawar has aggresively taken over as president of BCCI? I was not surprised.

There is hope.

Winning isn't everything Neither is losing everytime affordable.
Shakespeare said "if the world is a stage people are its actors." but in the badminton world politicians and administrators have turned actors leaving the players and spectators with nothing to expect.

However, in all this confusion there is hope. In fact I am very confident India can be the center for world badminton tournaments and training centers.

There should be tournaments enticing the best players from across the globe with huge prize money at stakes. Since there are enough number of Indian companies willing to partner as sponsors with a view to gaining consumer brand loyalty it should be done.
If we consider their job performance, executives of Badminton Association of india have failed miserably. I would definitely not recommend paying salary to them. However, BAI can help the cause of Indian badminton by building worldclass stadiums and facilities.
