Our hockey pundits need to change their mindsets. Targeting a bronze is not a healthy sign. It means they want to be incharge and on the top of those who were defeated by others. Boys we need to aim for the gold.
In hockey at various times we had great players in the team. These players have and will make the difference between winning in style and losing. However, in the current squad why have the federation ignored a player like Dhanraj pillay. He is absolutely the most talented player. His dribbling and speed is unmatched. I have watched his game. It is a pity there is so much personality bias in selection. Already the performance of the team has taken a severe beating in all championships. This time it will be no better unless most experienced, talented and fit players are included. if winning is the motto of the federationh, Dhanraj fits the bill and he should be considered. Jai hind to the team is he is included else jai kali!!
