Budhia has become a role model for millions world wide ! He needs to be protected !
by Dr. Cajetan Coelho on May 10, 2006 06:41 PM

International media has been working full speed to give maximum coverage to the record breaking feat of our young Indian runner. The boy is turning into a role model and inspiration for millions of less privileged children in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Asia and in countries Down Under. The boy they say has the potential of turning into a great champion if properly groomed with scientific methods and state-of-the-art input. Many feel the rights of the child are being violated in the western world as well as in poorer countries. In western countries, they say divorce is one of the main cause by which children are left with psychological traumas of being separated from the parents at a young age. In poorer countries they say it is the unfair trade that is the major reason for the violation of the rights of the child. Richer countries buy the produce of the poorer countries without paying them adequate compensation. As a result children are seen begging in the streets, railway stations, trains, buses and in every available place in many such countries. Our young Budhia is becoming an inspiration to kids world wide to fight these calamities and unleash the spirit of human dignity.

Are these stupids trying to kill this little boy? It seems so. I never heard this kind of stories coming out from any developed, litterate countries. It only proves that India is still far from achieving that status. If this boy is really talented, and it looks like so, instead of making him run this inhumane distances, they should nurtured this boy, so that he can become a world beater, when he will grow up. But in this environement, if this boy is very lucky, he may survive and just survive, nothing else. Though there is a high probability that he will end up with somthing serious and fatal injury in near future if this madness continues.
I wish this little Budhia all the luck to come out from this and stay healthy and really achieve something more important in his later part of life.
Also wish that people in India will grow up one day.

Should someone be allowed to exploit a 4-year old child in this manner ?
