its not wise to compare ronaldo and zidane...they are outstanding in what they do...one is a brilliant striker and the other one is one of the best playmakers the world has ever seen...and its good to know that they have immense respect for each others playing ability...
No doubt, Ronaldo is a great opportunist scorer....and can win the Golden Boot this year also, being the highest goal scorer in 2006 World Cup. The Golden Boot can also go to Klose IF Germany survive Argentina - which I beleive, they will...!!! But, Ronaldo is no equal to Zidane - Zizou is a playmaker and the Team revolves round his ' weaving '- whereas people like Ronaldo only finish what people like Zidane "give shape".
I think it is insane to compare Zidane and Ronaldo.
