This fight between the two great football teams benefitted neither. Holland is out of the race already. It is now the turn of Portugal, when it plays England with its key players out. Had both Portugal and Holland played a better game, one could have expected better result against the weaker English!
I feel Englang is having better luck and it may see through to the Semi Final. However, there seems to be no chance for them thereafter.
The tuffest match in this WC is Germany Vs Argentina, whoever win this contest they will get 500% Confidence and they can face an easy team in semi final and may be they can beat brazil.............????????
I think Netherlands started the ugly game.whenever a player gets injured and the game is stopped ball is given to the team which was having the possession by the other team.Although this is not a rule but this is the good spirit and sportsmanship. But the Duth team did completely opposite and that forced Deco to do something bad and face a yellow card and it all started from there.
As far as i am concerned after watching the match the standard of the refee was poor compare to other matchess. He could have handled the situation better. Showing of cards could have been definitly reduced.
Refereeing was a total mockery. What a mediocre job it was. Is there no governing council to oversee the calibre of refereeing of each match. Given the proportion of sentiments involved in each match at world cup level, referees can make or mar the future of millions around the world. They should be made more accountable and responsible. Here a grave injustive has been done to Porta. Inspite of this, I am sure they will walk away with the world cup. GO GO PORTUGAL
Hi there Well Holland was the better team without luck. They had ball possession of 60% which says who the master is. Portugal however was lucky enough to have a goal. As far fighting between the players is concerned it is understandable that it was do or die match for both of them and the players were in lot of pressure, specially Holland players as they had maximum numbers of supporters present in the stadium.
this is one of the ugliest football match i have ever seen.i felt that in the second half of the match players were not there for playing.what shocked me most was what FIGO did in the field.nobody expect these types of things from such calibre of player.

I agree with you, but i think FIGO lost his temper because the holland players were aiming injury to protugese key palyers, rather than playing a good football, Injury of C. Ronaldo is a good example.
