It was indeed a great goal which Beckham made for England. No doubht Equador is a very good time to defend England. I will rather say it is sheer unluck for the Equador Team. They would have at least the lead in the 10th minute of the game.
When will India change.First of all we are obsessed with a game which is played with hardly 10 nations in the world...I think its called cricket.And in that also we are hardly at the top inspite having the richest board.Then we have the Indian media commenting on a topic they hardly know,FOOTBALL or SOCCER.Please when you have atleast 10% knowledge of soccer,speak.I remember seeing an interview with the director of the movie 'Bend it like Beckham' where the interviewee asks the director why she did not give some other name like bend it like Ronaldo or some one.I guess he did not know that Beckham has the gift to 'Bend' the ball in his kicks[freekicks]. Now coming to the real topic,why are we obsessed with Beckham,... no why are we obsessed with English players[and everything English]whe they have not won the world cup since ages[almost 50 years.And frankly they are not as good as the other European teams like Germany,France or Italy if you leave the invicible south americans[Brazil, argentina].Please stop praising only the English players.I am not against them or anything.Our media first should learn the game ,the rules etc.,see who is really a good team.[will continue]

The topic is abt Beckham's goal, why hell you start abusing Indians. Just because soccor is most popular game in the world is it necessary that people can't like any other game?
If you can't write something good, positive then atleast don't write stupid. Speaking abt basics of games then how come it connects to Beckhams' goal. No duobt brazil is full of talent but Beckham still is most popular player in the world and that's because of his game.
