The Trnidad & Tobago (T&T) team deserves more than the mere mention your rag has given them. That the smallest nation ever to get this far, something India with her billion plus has yet to do, is something to rave about - this tiny Caribean nation, almost half of whose population is of Indian origin, has come thus far, having held off a far superior Swedish team, with only ten men for the almost the entire second half is something woth boasting about. Yeah man! We good.
i watched the match for 15 minutes and betted with my husband (who was vouching for sweden's success)that it will be a goaless match. I saw the ferocity with which the Trinidadian's put up such a stiff resistence that for being newcomers it was wonderful to see. Other teams can take some lessons from this wonderful bunch of players overbrimming with enthusiasm.
