FIFA selected Podloski is the best young player, but they did'nt find any best from Kaka of Brazil. I think its the advantage of organising a championship in home soil.
He deserved more than this. he gave away everything for france, He put his best efforts. Hatsoff to such a great living legend footballer! Really at the age of about 34 in his last match he was looking like a old lion who was keen on his target. In the end he passed from some unbalance moments but this is a fact that he is the best!

I was shocked when i came to know Zidane was awarded Golden ball i mean for what? even if he would have done excellence in this tournament then also after his heading act washes all its good deed. Now he is no more plaer to me and i think most of the people will agree with me.
Zidane was no were near his best this world cup ( no one else played) Canavaro is the ultimate defending machine which he proved yesterday and thats not easy. And for me he wins the Golden ball
Zidanne truly deserves that!!! Regarding the last few minutes red card issue, there might be some serious issue for him to act like that, coz as his reputation and experience goes he has really done well in the past.
Zidane undoubtebly deserves the Golden Ball Award !! And the red card incident in the finals just shows that even he is human, and can sometimes loose temper.
