Well, those of you who feel that the italians were crying, let me tell you this, against Australia, Materazzi was sent off despite there being no contact. Grosso was brought down, yes the touch was minimal, but it was more than the materazzi sending off. As for Zidane, well he has always been like this so it is not a surprise. Yes. He deserved lifetime ban from Football. But since he is no more fit (declared himself out also), such penalty has no meaning. Whatever be the provocation from Materrazi, Zidane had no justification. Some people interpret that the referee had not seen the mad act himself and had taken the help of technology, I mean the video. Why not? The technology had been witness when human eye failed. Taking such a flimsy technical stand would be demeaning 'Truth' & and a negation of 'Reality'.

Albeit there must be vere provoactive comment from the italian player, but Zidane should behave like a great sportsman(who he is),but he choosed to act like an animal typed man.No... there is hardly any excuse.
