Absolutely no doubt, Italians are very well groomed to tackle the situation and win over against France. There was a chance for Portugal to beat France, but for their tiresome performance they were unable to cope with and fight against France in semifinals. Had Portugal played with team-work with full spirit and briskness they would have won the semifinals,but unforture becuase of their imcompetitive performance. They should improve far more to place themselves in the international standard. Lets wish for their better luck in the next play of 2010. Finally it is going to be the day for Italy going to lift the Cup defeating France. The third winner will be German beating Portugal. Good luck for all the Fifa participants of 2006.
Taking into consideration of the performance of ITALY team in the FIFA World Cup 2006 I strongly wish to state that they (ITALY) will definitely win in the Final Match.
Its going to be a crack of a final between Italy and France. Whereas France have a better Attack and Midfield,courtesy Zidane, Italy have a better Defence. And beware,Nesta the World's best defender has still not played played a significant part in this tournament. It would be impossible to beat a combination of Cannavaro and Nesta with Buffon,the World's Best Goalkeeper backing them up. Italy start with an edge due to a superior defence. But with a messiah like Zidane around,it would be foolish to predict anything against France. But my money is on Italy.
Italy has not conceded a single goal in the tournament(except a self goal against the Americans). Even the Gemans, who scored in every match, were not able to find the net. To score against Italy, will not be easy for France. Also, Italy has changed their style of game. They are not waiting for the opponents to make mistake. Rather, they are looking more attacking now. The cup belongs to the Azzurri's.
