PULL UP YOUR SOCKS
by Krishna on Jul 04, 2006 06:59 PM

What do you expect? The man was adjusting his socks while the free-kick was taken rendering Henry unmarked to score. The whole world saw the replays a million times. How irresponsible and careless for someone with his experience!! Common Roherto, PULL UP YOUR SOCKS MAN (pun unintended).

Hi,

Brazilians tend to carry too much hope with their national team like cricket in India and any upset causes a furore in their country. One thing we must remember that Football is a team game and you are worthe your teammates performance.
Also players like Ronaldo, Ronaldiniho and roberto carlos are more recognized for there club play and need not necessary carry the same status while playing for the country.
When it comes to club football you dont have tough opposition in the form of other world class players and also teams like real madrid have players of the likes of play maker zidane who are very important for any side.
Hence Brazil should accept this defeat as their team was not tough enough to defeat other hard core opponents.

Roberto Carlos should've quit the moment the match got over. What he did was a disgrace for the entire Brazilian team and their fans. Very amateurish also.

Brazilians have some psychological problem while playing against France.

We Will Miss You
by Prodipto Ghosh on Jul 04, 2006 03:19 PM

Roberto Carlos you have taken a good decision to quit from the national team. We will miss you particularly your flamboyance in the 2002 world cup and those brilliant free kicks. As a ardent Brazilian fan I am very upset after Brazil had to bow out of this year's world cup. May be for some reasons you all could not show your traditional skill and class to the world. May be in 2010 in the next world cup Brazil will play in their classic form. You would not be in that side its a pity but this is life .... one has to make way
for another. Good luck to you for the rest of your life and may be we will see you as the coach of Brazil in future.
