What are these persons who have never played a game in their lives doing gallivanting abroad spending precious money allotted for Indian Sports? The IOA chief or the IHF chief have nothing to do with the technical aspect of sports. Why do they not stay in India attending to their other legitimate duties and let sports persons and technical experts go abroad for sports events? Apparently the Hockey Team Players were washing their own clothes while the officials accompanying them were likely enjoying in 5 Star Hotels. The least that the non playing persons accompanying the sports teams could have done is washed the Player's clothes for them.
No improvement is possible in Indian Hockey unless the club hockey is revived in this nation. With your nursery dead, forget that even an authoratative person like Gill can do anything about it. We always have politicking in every walk of our life. Revive the nursery and the latent talent in India will find a way to shine through the politicking, despite our kalmadis, Gills, Pawars and Lalus et al.
How dare you bloody politicians claim that you are promoting the game? It would be better for Indian hockey if all the politicians and bureaucrats stop poking their nose and let some players and professionals manage the sport in the country.
