No matter how many high-profile firang coaches they hire, the plain truth is, Indians lack the stamina (physical endurance), discipline (dedication, consistency & persistency) and professionalism, to play 'physical' competetive sports whether it's football, basketball, swimming, athlethics - they bring the same 'chalta hai' attitude to sports as they do in their everyday lives - the dearth of Olympic medals speaks for itself. Cricket, on the other hand, the lazy mild-mannered sport of their colonial masters, fits their listless lifestyle perfectly.
