Sania losing in front of home crowd is clear indication of her complacency in this sunfeast open since many of players except myskina are ranked high. this is clear innuendo of what happens if a player is flattered and is raised to skies.Apart from power sots she hits she lacks everything,play,placements , quick movements and also hitting returns during movement.ankita bhabri plays well better than sania,except for the power she lacks.Hence it could be better of not to take her to the Zenith which is way higher than where she's now.
It must be realised that Sania doesnt have a great game. she is far too inconsistent. Media would be well advised to let her be and not create another media made star who would fizzle out at first test of strength
cant blame u sania but all these people who have made u to be a godess overnight, u should model your game after graf or venus williams look at their strategy and their service recods.

It is disgusting to see the media and fans fawning over a player who at this point can only be described as mediocre at this point in time.
The senseless optimism of a country that hasnt had a sporting hero of world class calibre in a truly international sport for a while is pathetic to watch. In addition to having a weak serve, poor conditioning and TOO much baby fat, Sania does not even come close to the top 20 players.
What we must also remember is that in the world of tennis, the age to realize one's potential is not 25 or 30. Players peak by 20 and are fast fading out by their late 20s.
Instead of wasting time attending mindless functions and endorsements, she NEEDS to work on her game and fitness and fast, else she will end up in the endless list of 'potentials' who never made it to the top.
Sania should concentrate on her game rather than on the media coverage that she gets. She needs to win tier 3 tournaments if she has to break into the top 10 some day. Hope she makes it big unlike some of our cricketers who 'lose' their talent once they start making money from endorsements.
If the straight sets loss to Maria didn't sink in, hopefully this loss will make the undiscerning portion of the Indian public realize that Sania still has a long way to go before she can become a recognized force in world tennis. Don't spoil her with undeserved adulation, flattery, fame and money.
I am glad that Sania had to bite the dust at Bali & now in Kolkata. Hope she realizes soon that too much of show will not bring results. She will disappear in thin air a la Azharuddin who also shot to fame with three back to back centuries. History will repeat. Good Luck Sania
please stop focusing only on sania mirza i think there are better players too..when she dosent do well please dont blame the injury bec thts seriously lame..i think so shikha uberoi is good and she 2 should be given encouragment to do well..not only sania..sania has alot of attitude which is goin to get her no where..
