Agassi - The Champion

Whether he'd win this title or not ,the match against James blake will be etched in the mind of any tennis fan's mind for long.
Agassi was clearly the underdog going into this match- his record against james not withstanding. The young american was playing the best tennis of his life.the match against Nadal in round two was one example.
first two sets and a good half of the third blake didn't give a chance for Agassi. It was at 3-2 Blake had just broken Agassi,Agassi dug deep and broke him right back, and didn't allow his opponent to win a game in that set.then the rest is history now.
Hopefully he'll win the semifinal too..Ginepri -his opponent in semis, had been pushed to brink in all his 3 previous matches.one expects him to run out of gas in the semis.
beyond that...well its much dependent on roger federer - nalbandian quarters.
If federer moves ahead i don't see any hurdle for him to the title.
Either hewitt or Agassi,no one can match the King roger.

Hats off to the two bald men.
This was sheer electrifying stuff, played with great poise and character,so much lacking in present day sport.
Kudos to Agassi, the winner, but Blake is not far behind .. his time will come and not so far in the future.
