The match between Sharapova and Sania Mirza both 18 years old was a one sided one.Sharapova ia world No1 and Sania is ranked 42. If Sania had beaten Sharapova it would have been a great news .But it was not. As a keen tennis enthusiast I did not expect Sania to win the match as I know it is too much to ask though I want Sania to win as an Indian. I expected Sania to win atleast a set instead of going tamely in straight sets that too 6-2,6-1.
Sharapova few months younger than Sania is a great player whose serve is good.Sania has to improve her serve and also court play.She also has to reduce her weight and become more athletic if she has to succeed. I wish Sania all the best and and practice still hard on her weaknesses.
