Anderlecht has played well their first three rounds in the Champions League and it is unfortunate that the Brussels based team is yet to score a point in the high profile league. Franky Vercauteren's men are doing well and the extremely narrow victories against the Belgian side by the all star Liverpool of Benitez and earlier by Jose Mourinho's Chelsea speak well of the fighting capacities, talent and organization of Anderlecht. Youngsters like Anthony van den Borre, Vincent Kompany, Proto, Olivier and veterans such as Bart Goor and Yves Vanderhaege are time and again coming up with solid performances. In course of time, Franky Vercauteren a former Belgian international and a long time Anderlecht midfield maestro, and currently as chief coach of Anderlecht, looks set to take his club to higher levels in Europe.
