Sir,

Sania's picture on Time cover will go a long way in propping up the spirits of the Indian women who have long been under supression and even now a vast majority of them have to live under male dominance. It is high time the Indian society learnt the feminine power and Sania's cover page will go a long way in this regard.

Sania on cover of TIME Magazine (sic!)
by Vinod Sivaraman on Oct 02, 2005 07:58 PM

I read your article and did a quick check at the TIME magazine website and guess what - Sania does not figure on any of the TIME covers from the current issue going back to the previous four issues! So how then this report?

sania mania

thats so typical of the attention she's gettin just for a few accomplishments this year . I mean i m not jealous or anything cause i m an achiever myself and i know it. but look at it this way . she won a few matches aginst 1-2 good players and lost the rest miserabely against everyone else includin players rankin above 100. still that wont make news and a thing that happened 4 months ago will make headlines .I m an Indian but i m sorry to say that we only believe in mediocrity and nothin else cause we all are just that- mediocres
