World Soccer governing body FIFA is certainly in an ideal position to tackle the menace of racism. If one looks around one notices that FIFA is perhaps the only world body that is fairly more acceptible to many on the planet unlike other particular ideologies, religious systems or governments with specific agendas. FIFA by virtue of its mission of being a PROMOTER of LIFE through the game of football beyond all frontiers and borders, certainly qualifies itself as the most eligible candidate to fight racism in all its forms everywhere. Many among us are pleased with the efforts already made and wish FIFA well in the daunting challenges that lie ahead. Besides providing opportunities for earning decent livelihoods for players, officials, mediapersons and offering entertainment possibilities for millions, working to inculcate RESPECT and DIGNITY for fellow humans of various cultures and colours is a fine engagement indeed. We know FIFA has enormous potential and the necessary credibility and can certainly accomplish much more in the task of World Making. Our current and future generations will be grateful to FIFA for its efforts to purify and correct the outlook of us human beings.
