Go ahead Karan, India needs able sportsmen!
by Rakesh on Jun 17, 2005 03:46 PM

India is badly need of good sportsmen. Sports is an area largely neglectected by most parents, who are after the general conception of making a doctor or an engineer out of their siblings. Also, there's poor, if at all any, backing from the government for someone deciding to persue a sporting career in India. There's hardly any infrastructure, stadiums or coaching facilities. So, no wonder though there's one Indian for every 5 people in the world, we hardly get any medals in the Olympics, or other major sporting events.
So, Karan's achievements and goals warms the heart. I would like to wish him the very best. Hey Karan, be sure to join the "Male" side when entering the Grand Slam though!
