I think the writer was saying that this era has no competition and sampras-agassi era has competition. I am an avid tennis fan. I lost interest in tennis after Edberg retired because Sampras became too dominant. So, so don't tell me that sampras-agassi era was competitve. It was anything but competitive. This Federer era has just begun. I think with people like Safin, Roddick, Hewtitt and Ferrero around, I don't think it would be easy for Federer as it was last year. Very rarely we come across such talented players as those surrounding Federer now. Federer might be even better than Sampras, but it won't nearly as easy.
