Dear Leander,
I think if u feel not 100% ready for singles, then u should not enter with a defeatist attitude just for the sake of playing.
We value and rate u highly as a singles talent and feel more disturbed to see u lose tamely, perhaps more so than your own feelings.
If at all u must play singles, then do so with a positive spirit, well-prepared and your win-win trademark attitude - we love it.
