It is, indeed a splendid acheivement by Narain, the first Indian to compete in Formula One Race though he hasn't got a praise-worthy position. So hats off to him. It undoubtedly raises my passion towards the race and Narain.
I think the sport is more about money than anything else. Narain wasn't given a chance last year not because he lacked the aptitude but because he didnt have sponsors. Its time we place F1 in business columns rather than in sports section.

So dude, now that Karthikeyan is given the elite licence to drive a F1, how is his performance: Finishing with a position of 15+:
So does he really have a talent or is it just a business strat?
Information provided about F1 in rediff is very good and the way it is written is intresting. By reading these articles, i come to know about F1 history...
I liked your idea of an introduction to Formula One. Most of the Indians have not cared about the sport till now and need to be aware of it in double quick time.
But for the life of me I cannot understand why you had only put the name of Ferrari right after FIA. Ferrari is NOT Formula One. It is a disgrace to the the other teams participating in this glorious sport.
It is understandable if you are a diehard Ferrari fan. But dont lead the uninformed reader into believing that they are the only team out there.
Please don't start off with the Ferrari fever right away. Let the viewers decide for themselves which team they are going to support.
For me, from this year it is going to be Jordan and my beloved McLaren is going to be second for my affections.
