Indian hockey needs a new management. GILL SHOULD BE SACKED !!!! IHF needs to be shaken up just like the shake up of the BCCI. Please appoint a good Coach to handle the Indian team and train a bunch of younsters. Appoint Dhanraj and his brother as Sr members/advisers to the team. Let us see Indian hockey at the TOP AGAIN !!!!
Hi, Its not just the year 2005. We can forget Indian hockey alltogether. Incompetent coach, Lack of application, No skill, Physically unfit players-who look like malnourished compared to players from Europe and Australia.
Just like cricket, it is time to sponsor hockey with lots of money making it attractive. The new generation will take interest only if there are some returns. Indian Hockey Federation should invite corporate sponsors in a big way and take the game to college and school campus. Only widespread publicity and money can bring back this game in our country.
